Cleanliness and maintenance were poor. The pool area was littered and the pool itself very dirty and not fit to swim in. Overall the Kingsway Petra did not live up to its billing.- 12-May-2009 The Kingsway Petra has the potential to be a nice hotel however cleanliness does not seem ot be a priority. One day our room was not cleaned at all. As with many hotels in Jordan it is overpriced.- 12-May-2009 If you are looking for a clean, simple hotel to lay you head down after a long day roaming Petra, this will do fine. The only problem is, it is a 4JD taxi ride to and from the visitor's center and park entrance. Breakfast had a good selection, the staff was very helpful. They arranged a taxi back to Amman for less than we paid to go down. It is not 5Star luxury resort, but the price at $80 was good.- 23-Oct-2008 |
