Very helpful and courteous staff. Facilities were indeed spotless and the hotel management thought of all the conveniences for guests away from home e.g. complementary water, detergent to wash clothes, and in-house and external food delivery menus- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel was quite nice. I thought that the customer service was not very good. I also thought that food and drink in the hotel was very expensive. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels and did not find them to be so expensive.
We had to queue each morning for breakfast. We have a two year old. We asked for plain pasta (penne). We were told that they would have to charge the price that is on the menu - approx 5stg. Very expensive for plain boiled pasta. I have stayed at other hotels where children under 5 years eat free.- 07-Sep-2005 Great location, beautiful and clean swimming pool. Night markets right outside. Lots of great restaurants, money changers, taxi and tour shops all along the strip outside. Hotel shuttle bus to Georgetown and back daily was a great help. Bathrooms could be a bit more modern, ie, proper shower cubicle instead of shower in the bath. Did not try any of the restaurants as there were so many interesting local ones to try. The hotel Business Centre was closed so could not use the computer to connect to internet. They suggested using the Business Centre at their "sister" hotel next door, but on enquiry they were charging MR 12 for 15 minutes use! Can they really justify that?? - 07-Sep-2005 |
