 Would recommend this hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was great. Our room was very small but that was as we had requested an economy room as we were on a budgel. Stylish and modern, you get what you pay for- 21-Sep-2009 Great location, staff are very helpful. Parking is 20 Euro about 100 meters from hotel, bit of a task if you have heavy luggage no lift at hotel- 08-Nov-2008 Had a nice stay at Globus Hotel in Florence. The biggest assets are the staff that is friendly and helpful, and the location, which is great, with walking distances to everything. The rooms includes english TV channels which is good in august, where the cinema showing films that is not dubbed, are closed. We had a superior room, and this comes with several advantages: it had a good size. It included a free PC with free wireless access so needed not to bring one from home, which is very nice when you are on vacation. In addition the minibar was free.
There are stairs up to the reseption, which your luggage need to be carried, so remember to not have to heavy suitcases. (The staff will assist if you ask, but you should be aware that there also are a couple of steps up to the entrance that you at least need to carry your luggage.)
