There is only one computer available in the lobby for guests to use and it is sometimes impossible to work there as this area is also used as a meeting point for hotel guests. If Japanese is not your language it is very hard to use this equipment. There are no international or English langauage chanels available on the hotel room TV so all in all not the best place to stay for a business traveler without a laptop. Otherwise a lovely hotel!- 27-Oct-2008 This is a very nice hotel for a low price, and excellent for a European guy like me. It had a very good service, the staff speaks and understands English (if you are native speaker, speak slowly, please!). It is located a few steps away from the metro station where the two metro lines meet each other, more than perfect location! Just 3 metro stations away from the Main Rail Station. In front of the hotel, there is a Seven-Eleven store having delicious food. Just next to the hotel, there is a good Italian restaurant, too. Under the building, there is a parking garage, but I think it's easier in Kyoto without a car. The unusually wide road in front of the hotel makes going back to the hotel safe even in the night. There is very good service in the rooms (TV, free Internet, tea, etc.). The rooms are not spaceous, though, like all over in Japan. I definitely recommend this hotel for European or American tourists.- 23-May-2008 Nice clean and comfortable hotel in a central location and close to the the subway and restaurant and shopping area. The staff were English speaking and were warm and very helpful in telling me how to get around. I had a pleasant stay here.- 18-May-2008 |
