Giglio Dell Opera Hotel Rome is ideally located at only 100 metres from the Opera House and within walking distance to the main tourist attractions. With a little walk, it is possible to reach the main monuments as the Spanish Steps, Colosseum, and Piazza Venezia with the memorial to king Victor Emanuel II, Basilica of St Mary Mayor and Roman Forum.

 The hotel is perfectly situated by the station and metro lines, as well as being surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very helpful and their English was very good. - 17-Apr-2008 They put us above the waste tank, and the first day we could smell something but wasn't bad. But as more and more guests arrived the smell was unbearable. The second night was like spending it in a public bathroom. In the morning, after coming back from breakfast we couldn’t even enter the room because of the smell. When we brought this to hotel’s attention they were rude to us and refused to change room at first. The hotel was clean but the experience, smell, and the rudeness of the staff were other than nice. We will not stay there again.- 26-Jul-2007 Found this hotel to be ideally situated,walking distance from the airport bus drop off. However had the name on the hotel building been working i.e neon sign on we would have been in our beds within 30mins of reaching the city. No problem with late check in etc.Couldn't fault this hotel for a short stay in rome. - 06-Feb-2007 |
