 The hotel is in a good location in central Manchester, and provided a bed for the night. The breakfast was reasonable. But the hotel is tired, shabby and not very clean. Just looking at the state of the lift was not a good introduction. The room was smelly - in spite of opening the window, which was not easy, the smell remained. I think it might have something to do with the carpet. The whole place needs a thorough 'deep clean', redecoration and renovation.- 30-Oct-2009 excellent location room window was faulty but everything else was pleasent - 16-Sep-2009 Excellent location. 5 mins from train station and very central.
