 This hotels needs to be renovated as the rooms are very old, mustyand beginning to fall apart. However that will probably never happen as it is slated to be closed down by December 2007 for redevelopment into a residential tower(s).- 03-Aug-2007 Perfect location, close to the centre and Orchad street but really not clean, smelly and humid. - 10-Jun-2007 Garden hotel is a rather old hotel which probably used to be one of the best in the 80s. The overall look and feel when entering the hotel room makes you feel like you have entered into the past.
Beds, furnishings are all based on the 80s concept. One major dissapointment will be the television. Due to old televisions being used, we had only access to four channels. Radio station was limited to one which played music from the 70s/80s. Felt a little weird.
The rooms were a little stuffy. However, housekeeping staff were really nice. Location's rather good due it's near to the city area.
