 the hotel is looking a bit tired internally but it had everything we needed for our stay. some excellent bars and restaurants nearby, can recommend the 'open mic' night at The Lord bar, thursdays, two minutes walk from the hotel. - 28-Jul-2008 The Meridien was just an average hotel. The room we stayed in was just average. The hotel was clean and tidy, the facilities were a little out dated however. The location is great, close to all the restaurants on Melbourne St. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay and are not too fussed, this is for you.- 29-Aug-2007 The one bedroom suite was good value at the [website] price and the hotel is close to lots of restaurants at the busy end of Melbourne Street. Hotel restaurant itself served well-proportioned meal at a fair price. The furniture in the suite looked rather worn and shabby; all pretty old really and the outlook nothing interesting but I felt it was a very fair price and room service was fantastically punctual.- 27-Feb-2007 |
