Initially we were allocated room number 25, the worst room I have ever encountered. Cracked window panes looked over the noisy main road, grimy soft furnishings and a leaking toilet combined to produce the most dispiriting environment imaginable. After I complained we were given the key to number 38, a clean and bright room at the rear of the building. Renovations were obviously in progress. The staff were actually pleasant and helpful, but it is hard to eradicate that first impression.- 27-Dec-2007 The hotel was fine. The room was small and the bathroom was pretty funny. The shower was very very small, to the point of being absurd. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good (croissants, other pastries, cold meats, sausages and eggs). The location is amazing. Just a short walk to many of the great sites. And for being on a major street, we found the hotel to be pretty quiet. - 17-May-2007 Lovely small, simple and central hotel, helpful staff, wonderful service that met all our expectations and more. We were there twice already and we'll be back again.- 13-Apr-2007 |
