 Good hotel but I thought that four points was a premium hotel chain. - 05-May-2008 Good location for visiting Santiago, close to the metro and walking distance to Providencia. Very clean, friendly staff, however it looks like a Sheraton anywhere in the World, ie. zero local character.
The one thing that was extremely frustrating was the the staff constantly treated one as being stupid and quoted everything in US dollars. I constantly had to ask for prices in Chilean Pesos. In addition the concierge tried to book one on far over-priced tours and wasn't too helpful with reservations when I wanted to take the bus to the Concha y Toro vineyard, which was perfectly feasible and a quarter of their price.
This aside, the hotel was good for visiting Santiago.- 03-Jan-2008 The location was fantastic, close to The subway station, staff friendly and excellent customer sevice. The Tour staff was very helpful people.
The only issue is the level of noise at night from Thrusrday until Saturday from the pubs and discos near the hotel. - 10-Nov-2007 |
