We were extremely pleased with the price which would have cost more than 100 dollars in Canada!! Practically right beside the 2 peso Metro system. Buses are only 2.5 pesos The hotel service was excellent. two double beds and a decent room for 38U.S.! suggest earplugs for the light sleeper as the traffic begins early and Mexicans love to honk their horns!!
One suggestion is to take the white taxis with the red stripe and you will find it much cheaper than the hotel taxi. - 21-Apr-2008 It's a good hotel very well situated.- 24-Jan-2008 Absolutely fantastic location to live in. For the price I got, I cant imagine a better deal. The restaurant's avg but nice to have. Since the employees of the hotel were not exactly well versed in English, make sure you know some basic spanish. Only problem was the room had ghost lighting (or romantic lighting as my husband puts it). So if you plan to spend the nights reading a book in your room, you might be a bit strained for sure.
However, the A/C worked fine, there was warm water always, Metro station Hidalgo is just across the road, there is a plaza with restaurants, shops, movie theatre and even a hair salon next to it & Zocalo is a short and very pleasant walk awat. Also, it's around 15-20 mins drive from the airport.
All said and done, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a decent place at a bargain price in one of the best locations of Mexico City. I will definitely stay with them (unless someone else sponsors my trip lavishly!!!)- 22-Dec-2007 |
