the hotel has a lovely buffet-style breakfast with strong coffee and lots of options. the carpet in our suite was ripped in several places, which is not ideal.

The hotel is conveniently located just across from the main city square, making it easy to explore local attractions, including several museums and a variety of shops.

The rooms can be quite noisy due to the bustling environment outside, especially those close to the front desk and stairs, which doesn't guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep.

The vibrant decor, filled with paintings and natural light, creates an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the rooms impeccably clean, which made my stay enjoyable.

Train noise from early morning disruptions was tough to manage. Plus, the breakfast selection was limited and could use improvement to enhance the culinary experience.

The noise levels are unbearable!!! It felt like I was living next to a train station with constant disturbances. The thin walls could use soundproofing and the lack of a shampoo or conditioner was surprising!!!

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff that really makes you feel at home (they helped with local tips! ). Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Loved the vibe of the hotel with its unique art!

I enjoyed my time staying at this charming hotel close to museums and restaurants. The staff helped me store my luggage before check-in, which was thoughtful. Breakfast was a simple yet tasty selection of local dishes. I found it a delightful experience overall. However, be aware of the train noise during the night. it didn't bother me, but I can see it affecting light sleepers.

I had a small, but nice restaurant experience during my stay! They served a breakfast that was simple yet satisfying – can’t forget that delightful Costa Rican coffee!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it did have its moments.
