 strange hotel. we checked into the hotel which is in a pub. we were shown to our room which meant walking across the main road, up the street for about 100 metres & down a lane and into a building that was very old ,( the lift had a wrought iron cage), but the room was newly renovated.apparently there are rooms in the pub/reception building but the receptionist said they were a little bit noisy.- 20-Jun-2009 It was my first time to stay at the Flann O'Brien, I choose it going off other peoples comments and ratings. I was very satisfied with the hotel and not only would I stay there again I would recommend it to anyone too. It has a very central location. Attractions are within a 10 minute walking radius around the hotel. And attractions further afield such as vatican city are serviced by a very good bus route on the street outside the hotel.
The restaurant services nice, reasonable priced food, a variety of breakfast options are available and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Don't be put off on arrival if your rooms are in aother building around the corner (this happened to us) the rooms are beautiful and in a very safe and quiet location and well serviced.- 28-May-2009 Rooms were well maintained.
