Ideally located in the heart of this unusual harmony, the Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is where a rare nature lovers' paradise awaits you. Go bushwalking, horse riding, kayaking, snorkelling, jungle surfing and enjoy rainforest walks or simply unwind in one of Australia's most beautiful, untouched settings at your leisure. There are also 2 swimming pools available on-site for you to enjoy.
 Went there for the experience in staying overnight in the rain forest. Cabin accommodation was unique and the restaurant complex and pool was very impressive. Our cabin was fairly mouldy which is to be expected in a the tropics I suppose, and the cistern was on its last legs - leaking water and barely hanging onto the wall, however it was seen to promptly by a staff member with a silicone gun! I wont complain about the tariff as it is probably only a once in a lifetime visit for us. I rate it 3 stars and thought it was OK. - 16-Sep-2008 Overpriced. You will get similar value in any of the B&B or the backpackers in the area. You will get even better value (for less money) in both of the farm stays in the area. If you still consider to stay there, be prepared to have ants, cockroaches, spiders...etc. in your room (do not leave any food, drinks...etc in accessible places - remember a cockroach gets anywhere!).- 02-Sep-2008 |
