 The Fenix Hotel Lisbon was in a great location with the Metro right outside the door. Also the depot for day trips was 100metres to the left of the hotel and buses to other parts of the city also just outside the door. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were a good size.
We caught the Metro into the main cente of the old town which took about 5 minutes. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be close to the tourist attractions of Lisbon.- 25-Apr-2008 The room has a good size and is clean, the staff is helpful (we needed some information that was only available through the internet and they search for it and deliver it very quickly), and the breakfast has a lot to choose from, but THE BEST is the location: right in front of the Marques de Pombal Tube Station (Metro), which is very centrical and safe. we came back at midnight by tube without any problem. Only one thing: after midnight you wont get any food from the hotel as not even room service is available.- 05-Apr-2008 The Hotel was very welcoming and comfortable and well located for sightseeing in Lisbon. Our room was great, very big and comfortable. It did get very hot during the night but we were able to open the windows which helped a lot and there was no traffic noise to keep us awake. We would recommend it to everyone. There is lots of choice of public transport and the airport bus stops close by - we didn't use a taxi once!
