 This is a very quirky place to stay. More like a motel than a hotel but very clean and modern with a small swmming pool and small restaurant on site. The decor is very unusual with farm tools all over the place but it's very well maintained.
The location was fantastic - straight across the road from the Farmers' Market which has great food stalls, plus lots of gift shops selling a mixture of typical touristy trash and lovely unusual gifts. The choice if restaurants here is fantastic - you could truly eat your way around the world! Behind the Farmers' Market is The Grove, a brand new shopping centre with some great bargains.
There is a bus-stop directly across the road from the hotel with a service that will drop you in the middle of the action on Hollywood Boulevard in abut 15 minutes.
There are some seriously sleazy areas of LA that you would definitely not feel comfortable walking around in at night, but the area around the Farmers Daughterfelt very safe.
