You can workout at the fitness room, featuring state-of-the-art cardio equipment and maintain your fitness regime. The concierge can arrange for services ranging from an in-room massage to a hiking trek through some of the gorgeous nearby trails. For biking enthusiasts, an off-site rental facility provides access to both cross-training bikes and high-end mountain bikes.
 Clean, close to Union Square, China Town and the Financial District, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nothing special and the windows looked over an enclosed rooftop, but the bathroom was larger than most SF hotels on Union Square. The bath towels were teeny and very thin, but the shower head was like standing under a waterfall! Very nice! What the heck was the green pyramid pillow that mystically appeared on our bed after maid service?!? Street parking was difficult, but not impossible.- 10-Jul-2008 My husband & I came to this hotel for the first time. The location is fantastic, the hotel is old and you can smell it in the room, but it's not that bad & you get use to it. The front desk service is quite good but depends on who is there. The front desk manager is very helpful & smiling all the time so it gives you a good feeling. The cleaning service in the room wasn't that great, everyday they forgot something else to put or change. The wine reception is cool, we got the chance to meet people from all over the world. All together, I think we'll return to this hotel on the next time in San Francisco.- 22-Dec-2007 Excellent location, walking distance to everything.
