 This is the second time that I've stayed at the Excelsior. On this visit I was quite surprised by the fact that there were gaps between the windows and the window frames creating a horrific howling sound (the one night that it was windy). I can't imagine what this room would be like in the winter!!- 05-Apr-2008 Room heating was problematic. Controls did not work properly. Not much information about hotel facilities provided in bedroom. Excellent breakfast.- 01-Apr-2008 While we did not stay at the hotel in order to experience the available services, when we did ask (one evening) for some assistance finding a place for dinner, we were told that we should "walk up or down Columbus; there would be something available."
