 The Eureka Hotel represents good value for money. Breakfast and the restaurant are fairly average and can be crowded but meals are very cheap. Service from front desk staff is cool and efficient.
A nice rooftop pool - small and without any shade but great for cooling off. Restaurants and a mini market are very close and it is within walking distance of the Creek
The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the Airport
Would recommend for a cheap stopover of one or two nights- 26-Aug-2007 We had a pleasant stay at the Eureka hotel. Rooms are small but clean, breakfast ok and the shuttleservice to the beach (leaves 10 am, back 1-2pm) and shopping malls (leaves at 5 pm, back at 10, different locations every day) were good even though taxi is cheap. From the hotel itīs about 40-50 minutes walk to the gold souk and 30-40 minutes to the creekboats so the location was perfect. The pool on the roof is not that charming so donīt choose this hotel because of that. We recommend this hotel.- 23-Mar-2007 |
