 Generally we were very happy with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was a bit out of the way and the traffic in the Deira area was bad. The breakfast was ok but we did think that bacon was meant to be part of the menu. The tourist desk staff did need to know what they were offering, i.e. the night we went on the desert safari there was no belly dancing as it was a religious day but we weren't told about that, and the big bus tour could go for 48 hours not two specific days(which we would have liked to have known about). As far as we could work out the two bars and restaurants didn't happen for us. - 13-Aug-2007 Clubs on some nights (e.g Arabian night) mean its noisy until about 3am on those nights, though very quiet on other nights. Location is excellent for access to Bur Dubai and Deira areas. - 04-May-2007 Very nice employees, very helpful. Location was central, so a good base for Dubai. Rooms a little on the small side but clean and all the necessary items (refrigerator, hairdryer, phone, tv, etc) present. Walls were pretty thin so we were bothered somewhat by the noisy neighbours. Small but nice pool on rooftop, perfect to cool off! Lifeguard always present.- 16-May-2006 |
