The hotel was basic and a little shabby, staff were uninterested. The room was small. The location was good, the rooms were clean and the city view was great. Overall I would rate the hotel as average. It is also worth noting that the pool area was too loud to be able to sit and relax by the pool due to sounds from all the hotel air conditioners and fans.- 21-Jul-2009 Location is in very strategic district of Tsim Sha Tsui and the Empire Hotel is the gateway to shopping, food and entertainment venues. Just walk around 10 minutes to avenue of star, and to MTR station. View from our windows hotel is very nice.. facing HK island side. but not drinking water available in the room and chargeble Hkd 10 each. overall I really enjoyed my time during stay there.. - 29-Jun-2009 The hotel is well located in Kowloon. It is in easy walking distance of both the Star Ferry, MTR station and markets (e.g. Temple Street). The hotel is clean. The rooms are small (though our twin room was much bigger and better fitted out than the double) but fine for a short stay. The pool is very cold (April), but its location in the centre of the open cylindrical building is dramatic. We did not eat in the hotel, as there are plenty of restaurants of all types in the surrounding area.- 24-Apr-2009 |
