 The Emperor Happy Valley Hotel was an excellent place to stay for the price. However, a slight draw back is location. From the airport, a person would have to take the train, and then a taxi, or take one of the airport buses to get there - which was a 45 minutes to a 1 hour drive. Other than that, the Hotel was clean, had excellent service, and was well worth the price if one is looking for a moderate range hotel to stay at.- 04-Feb-2008 On a business trip to Hongkong to attend the Cosmoprof Beauty Exhibition it is fine as the hotel has a convenient shuttle bus to/fro to the Exhibition centre. On a regular business trip however the location is not at all convenient. Otherwise a good , clean, quiet and good "value for money" hotel.- 19-Nov-2007 I stayed for two nights and found the Emperor good value for money. The room was rather small but perfectly served its purpose. Hong Kong is expensive and finding a place as efficient and clean - it was really spotless - is not that easy. The staff was very friendly but not overly well informed. I asked for the address of ''1/5'', a trendy club and they had no clue. The hotel is quite well located: 5 min to Times Square (by cab) and 10 minutes/HK$32 to Central. Would I recommend it to a friend? yes- 07-Sep-2005 |
