General
The spacious and elegant lobby would be the perfect place for you to relax and have a casual chat with friends and fellow travellers.
The price didn't reflect the standard which wasn't great. It was a guesthouse not a hotel. No bar or reception lobby. Breakfast was in nice Italian restaurant underneath overlooking Liffey. Location is very central. Price was bumped up for concert weekend I expect.- 15-Jul-2009 Eliza Lodge is situate in a prime location verlooking the River Liffe. Just walk across one of the many bridges to reach Temple Bar, a buzzing tourist area. Bono's Hotel is a must for cocktails and the Arlington is great for Irish Dancing, traditional singing, and disco until the early hours. The locals are very friendly and helpful 'Irish Eyes' certainly smiled on med uring my stay in Dublin. I had a few years ago been on the Tourst Bus which is great fun and visted quite a few places of historical interest.- 20-May-2009 The location of the hotel is great - in the middle of the party street. It is noisy so if you want to have a decent sleep is better that the windows are shut. The personel is helpful and the breakfast is good as well.- 07-May-2007 |
