 I have only 2 issues: I booked a room with a double bed and arrived to find that only 4 of the 80 rooms had a double bed in them, and that I was not getting one. I wasn''t pleased. Nowhere in my correspondence with the hotel had I been informed of the possibility of being put into a room with 2 single beds. We were moved the following day from room 73 to 41, and the new room was much better with its much brighter bathroom. The other issue was with the breakfast. Only a continental breakfast is served. We wanted eggs, yogurt, fruit salad and unsweetened cereal and real orange juice included in the very high room rate.
Otherwise, the hotel was very pleasant, well-situated in town, and very quiet. The double bed shortage and terrible breakfast would make me very hesitant to recommend El Quijote to friends. - 07-Sep-2005 |
