The hotel is located just 7 km from one of the best Ski Resorts - Sierra Nevada and 15 km from Granada where you'll find the Alhambra, one the most symbolic monuments of the city.  A very good value for money hotel, clean rooms although they did smell a little damp but they were fine. A good choice for breakfast anf for a meal in the evening. The beef on the menu was a little vague as i didnt realise you had to cook it yourself at the table on an iron skillet,but ti was absaloutley gorgeois and is to be highly recommended. The staff were great although their english was next to non existant so take a phrase book! A|ll in all a jolly good time was had by all.- 11-Mar-2008 The hotel and location was superb, the only downside was the food. The restaurant menu is very limited, and expensive for the quality of food you recieve- 05-Mar-2008 El Guerra hotel is located in the Sierra Nevada near Granada and the Alhambra. It is at the mountainroad between Granada and the Sierra Nevada. When using a GPS you can find the right road but it has no number so you have to drive the road for several km's untill you arrive there. A better direction would be helpful.
The hotel is basic but nice. Rooms are specious but can be very warm in summer. Outside pool is large and clean.
One advice: learn to speak Spanish befor you arrive here while the staff hardly talks anything else. This can be difficult- 17-Aug-2007 |
