 We would like to thank all the staff at the Edelweiss Manotel Geneva for their great service and help. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and were given a map of Geneva and ideas on where we should visit. we enjoyed a lovely meal and entertainment in the restaurant and the staff were extremely helpful on the morning of our departure when due to the terrorist threat they contacted the airport on several occasions on our behalf. we would be grateful if you could ensure that the receptionists on duty on the afternoon of the 9th and the morning of the 10th August are thanked personally and let them know that we were able to fly home that day. we would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel.- 13-Aug-2006 We were on the 7th floor with nice view of the mountians and water jet - it was a lovely big room with couch and easy chair and was very quiet. Nice breakfast. We ate only one meal in the restaurant but enjoyed the music and good atmosphere. The food was very nice and service was excellent. 3 minutes to the Gare Routiere and 5 minutes to the main station, 2 streets up from the lake - an excellent location.- 05-Jan-2006 We spent three days in Geneva and really enjoyed ourselves.The Edelweiss Manotel was very sweet and the staff very nice. The room we had on the 7th floor was spacious with a good bathroom. I liked the swiss chalet type furniture and the dining room was very pretty if a bit kitsch. The breakfasts were good. The hotel is well placed near the lake and we took the boat to get to the other side of the lake on the last day. I wished we had done it earlier.- 11-Sep-2005 |
