 I was on the Noisy side of the hotel (Faces Fitzroy St) but i'm use to noise so slept through it. For future stayers - Noisy Side Rm Numbers 111-120,211-220 and Quiet Side (Faces the Parking Lot Jackson St) Rm Numbers 101-110,201-210. For parking if coming from the east end of fitzroy you need to turn into Jackson St (turn left from fitzroy st (just before the 7-Eleven and then turn right where to the parking lot. HINT for parking (Especially if after hours): Check in first - to get the PIN number otherwise you can't enter the gated car park. $8/night for parking. There is homeless people downstairs but harmless. No fast broadband internet - dialup only. If you need fresh towels - $25. No special toiletries supplied such as showercap etc. They did have shampoo/conditioner/soap (but it was in units attached to the bathroom walls which i did not try out) so can't comment on it. Would stay again but would request to stay on the quiet side.- 16-Apr-2008 We stayed at this hotel for an over night stay in Melb. The hotel is basic as the price suggests but was very clean. Location is fantastic right above cafes and resturants. We were in road side room and the trams did get a little noisy especially early in the morning perhaps ask for rear room if you are a light sleeper. Overall would stay there again if in Melb overnight. - 24-Nov-2007 Easystay at Bayside Melbourne provided us with a comfortable, pleasant stay. The hotel staff were great! Very polite and helpful, the room was clean on arrival but unfortunatly beds were not made everyday, this being said toliet and bedroom bins were emptied daily. Heating worked very well, especially with the cold weather. Prices were affordable and bookings were made in a short period of time. We would be happy to stay again in one of the Easystay hotels.- 18-Jul-2007 |
