 The location and the price, especially the price through internet, make this hotel quite attractive. I paid RMB 333 for a so-called Superior King Room. The hotel is quite clean in comparison with many other hotels in the locality. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service and unfriendly staffs. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, if you are on budget. You won't find a better hotel for the same price.- 04-Jun-2008 I strongly recommended East Asia Hotel Shanghai for anyone visiting Shanghai on a tight budget. Not only is the hotel very affordable, it also exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. The room I got was very spacious and clean, comes with heater (unlike a previous hotel I stayed at) and bathtub.
