overall the hotel was good ,however the club room and lounge facilities was definetly not up to standards, choice of snacks/food in the business lounge was not at all aceptable.
Staff was very friendly and hospitable. - 21-Dec-2007 My husband and I had a wedding to go to and were hoping to have a nice quiet rest also. But the peopoe that were in the room next to us had young children that cried winged and screamed for most of their awake time. We were woken on the Sunday morning at 7am by them crying and complaining and their mother screaming at them. That spoiled our whole experience at the Duxton unfortunately. We had heard so much about the Hotel that we couldn''t wait to stay there but our time there was dampened. Maybe they need to take into account couples and families should be on seperate floors.- 14-Dec-2006 The hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly yet professional. I had a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend my business colleagues to stay there. - 26-Sep-2006 |
