 We stayed in a villa room at Diamond Cottage Resort Spa for 6 nights. Considering it was our first trip to Phuket, the resort was well located in the Karon Beach area. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who helped to 'cool' us down with welcome drinks. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and served the 'best' Green Curry Beef in the area. Having a massage at the hotel is a must - they dim the lighting and play soft music in the background. An authenic experience! Karon beach was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but we spent most of the time enjoying the hotel pools. Shops and restaurants are directly outside the hotel or in very close proximity to the hotel. We only wished the breakfast menu could have been varied. But overall we recommend the hotel and look forward to staying there again next year.- 24-Apr-2008 Personal was very kind and helpful. Room, pool and all other places were clean and good cared. Food was good and so also breakfast. Location was excellent, 5 minutes walking to Kata or Karon beach, shopping possiblities near. still peacefull environment to rest.- 16-Mar-2008 Very kind staff. The hotel is situated between Caron beach and Kata beach, that means you can enjoy both when ever it fits you and the weather allows. Very nice restaurant. But if you are given rooms in the 1st floor, everyone can watch what you are doing inside. We were fortunately (?) lodged in two rooms which shielded by the swimming pool bar -- not to be seen neither to see anything outside, we hadde to draw the curtains all the time (with dim lights!).
