I've no found nothing good in this hotel except, might be, reasonable price - but this is the case with most hotels in Cairo. View on the pyramids from this hotel is pretty descent - but pyramids by themselves are not writhing walking distance and one has to take a cab anyway - so it makes more sense to live somewhere closer to centre. Final very important thing: drivers in Cairo got used to use signal every 20 seconds - and hotel's windows don't prevent one from hearing all this noice 24/7 - I used to listen player on the maximum volume - if you don't wanna do the same - choose better location:)- 14-May-2009 I was quite hesitant when reading some of the reviews when booking this holiday but this hotels price suited my budget. I was pleasantly suprised when we first arrived in the early hours and me and my 3 children were welcomed warmly and curtiously. Our rooms were spacious and clean with a view of the pyramids outside my bedroom window. The hotel had all facilities needed. Breakfast was varied and there was plenty of choice. All members of staff were helpful, cheerful and keen to assist and guide whenever possible especially W... and M.... I would definately recommend this hotel to my friends and family and if I ever visited Cairo again I would certainly stay here. It is in the heart of the city and everything is easily accessible. The kids loved the pool too which was made available for our sole use as we requested. I think the negatives reviews are from people who are too fussy as I would rate this hotel 4 star without any doubt!- 12-Apr-2009 Even though the Delta Pyramids was a 4 star hotel it is very old. The carpets were a bit dusty and even moldy. The beds had old mattresses but were not uncomfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The dining area on the top floor where you have a great view of the pyramids was the best. Rooms in the front of the building had street noise come up. The service was great as all the staff were helpful in getting us to our tours and helping us get around town.- 13-Jan-2009 |
