The hotel was very comfortable, friendly helpful staff. Location good, a little expensive, had to pay roughly £50.00 extra for seaview.
My only disappointment was the hotel swimming pool, i thought it was poor looking, put me off having a swim. It needs a new facelift!
We enjoyed afternoon tea when we arrived at the hotel, (in the conservatory) the staff were very good accomodating us having not booked a table, my cake was delicious, but my husband cake was a bit stale. However very nice to sit and have a cuppa!- 22-Jul-2007 The Hotel has kept its charm and elegance as so many fail to do so these days. The staff are very efficient and respectful and give a good welcome. The food is excellent and the breakfast was super. the Devere Grand is well maintained and very clean. We shall return.- 08-Feb-2007 The service at this hotel is exemplary - as you would expect of a 5 star establishment. Sadly, with the exception of most public areas, the hotel is past its best and certainly does not deserve 5 stars. We understand that a re-furbishment is imminent but that does not excuse 'odd' cups on the complimentary tray, curtains hanging off the curtain rail, mould in the showers of the health club (there was more) - all things that housekeeping could sort out in and instant.- 04-Jan-2006 |
