This is a really nice hotel.. However, they do allow dogs, which surprised me for a four star hotel.. Particularly as one kept me awake a couple of nights, howling and barking. In saying that the hotel management team dealt with it promptly. I did complain at the time and my complaint was dealt with in a very professional way, so much so, it would not put me off going back there again.- 04-Apr-2008 The hotel was very pleasant and service was good. The only bad point is that the cost of drinks at the hotel bars was extortionate! £19 for two double malibu & coke!!! - 19-Mar-2008 The bed was terrible!
I had expected a king size, but we had a double - it was far too soft as were the pillows & we had a bad night sleep, unfortunately.
We moved on to a Manchester hotel the following day which was much better!
Staff were good, but tried to charge us on departure - sorted out in time, but aggravating all the same.
Would have liked to have used this hotel again as we visit family in Blackpool quite often. Hubby wanted to stay here because he was looking to join the golf club before we moved out to Ireland - if only the hotel was as good as the golf!
Will be using alternative hotels in future.- 13-Mar-2008 |
