 Very lovely hotel - our third stay here. Excellent location (very easy to find, follow signs to 'la gare' off the motorway), very clean and tidy, breakfast very good, as was the meal we had in the bistro attached to the hotel (try the steak or the chicken/ham pie - exquisite)...ideal for an overnight stay, and well discounted on this site, which included breakfast.- 11-Aug-2008 The hotel was perfect for our short stay in Angers and all the staff were helpful.
The rooms would benefit from tea making facilities but apart from that, all was fine.
The choice for breakfast was more than adequate and i would certainly reccomend the hotel to anyone i knew who was staying in the area- 03-Sep-2007 My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de France, Angers. The location of the hotel, in our view, could not be better, being opposite the train station. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
