I enjoy my short stay in this hotel. I will visit it again next year and I will highly recommended it.- 27-Jun-2009 Easily the best hotel deal in Montevideo! Clean, quiet (especially if you stay on the side opposite the street), comfortable and cool (during warm weather--good air conditioning). Included in the cost is a continental breakfast with juices and good, strong coffee; plus off-street parking. While its location vis-a-vis the seafront and nicer sections of town is not the best, it certainly is not bad. No crime to worry about, just that this part of town is somewhat less upscale, if not a bit run-down. If one is taking the bus across town or the country, its location becomes ideal. For English-speakers especially, Mauricio at the front desk is polite, courteous and exceptionally helpful. Barring boisterous neighbors, your stay here should be very pleasant. Highly recommended. - 28-May-2009 Comfortable, roomy and very well kept with great service and facilities including 24 hour free internet access. Some small details regarding not providing enough info on their room information booklet, such as how to dial out for an overseas phone call, how to retrieve voice messages, etc were reported on the User feedback form provided by the Hotel. I also suggested they provide in-room coffee making facilities. There is brewed coffee in Reception but more often than not the maker was empty, though staff readily made a fresh brew. These are only small details but I found them a bit frustrating. Otherwise a great place to stay. I will be going back to stay there next time I travel.- 27-Jan-2009 |
