 The Days Inn Clifton Hill hotel is in an excellent location for the Falls. Just a short walk down the entertaining Clifton Hill. They had strict rules about noise and this meant that it was quiet at night. Breakfast was also plentiful. They charge $10 per day parking because of the proximity to the falls, the hotel reception was understaffed, one lady was excellent trying to deal with everyone but there was occasionally a long waits. There is free wifi in rooms but no fridge. Unfortunately no washing machines for us to use. There is a pool so I think this is great for families who don;t need a washing machine or fridge.- 04-Aug-2009 Wireless Internet did not work in a stable way. We travelled there on business and had to rely on the Internet access in the hotel for the mornings and evenings (time difference with Europe).
Several times I complained about the Internet not working properly, but the staff did not seem to care.
On the last day I was even lied to by the reception staff and only at the very last minute the manager showed some interest offering free full breakfast at another location.
To summarise, the rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Prices are low but if Internet access and good service is important for you, I would look for another hotel - there are plenty around.- 28-Feb-2007 |
