 The best thing about the Daunou Opera is its location - in the heart of the Opera area. Very convenient and the hotel is within easy walking distance to many of the sights of Paris.
The rooms are typically small. The place needs a bit of an uplift and a repainting program seems to be underway - but nothing substantial. Bit run down.
Staff were neither very friendly nor helpful but this is not unusual in most of the smaller Paris hotels.
A good enough place to stay for a short time - and very convenient. - 12-Jul-2007 The situation of the hotel is ideal for a tourist with easy access to Metro, shopping and local tourist sites.
While comfortable it would benefit from redecoration.
The staff were very helpful and obliging.

- 30-Mar-2004 The staff were friendly, welcoming and courtenous, we enjoyed our stay in a delightful French hotel of charactor and frienship. As a Travel Consultant of 15 years I highly recommend. We had other experiences in Paris that did not come anywhere as near as the Hotel Danue Paris.
