Brilliant hotel, we had a family room with a kitchenette, plenty of room and enough facilities to eat in if wanted. Very close to the centre of Darwin, everything within easy walking distance.- 07-Oct-2009 Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Good price- 05-Jan-2009 Very central to the main activities. The hotel is easy to see but finding the entrance is difficult as it is in a narrow one way street. Car parking at the hotel was $15 a night but there was street parking nearby - $2 for two hours but as it was free from 5pm till 8am you could leave the car there from 4pm till 9pm the next day. There was a nice simple restaurant, Salvatori's (?), on the same block which provided excellent value meals. The evening gathering of a huge flock of parakeets just out side our window was amazing.
As a base for touring the region it was very good. - 19-Nov-2008 |
