 The room doesn't even have a coffee maker - you have to go to vending machines, to the bar, or into Ralphs next door to get something to drink. Even the lowliest among motels have that.
Location is close to airport but far enough that planes are no bother at night, and the rooms are clean. The hotel itself is modern (2005) and looks accordingly, if a tad too dark-hued.
Parking is valet only and $22 (!), and the breakfast was not included in the price and cost another $8 for a very small, rationed meal - it's not a buffet. Once you add those two items, this hotel becomes expensive compared to alternatives. I would check other options first.- 20-May-2009 Spartan, modern furnishings in the room. Good mattress and good wall-mounted TV. Lobby is functional, but barren. Convenient to LAX with great views of the airport from rooms on the south side of the hotel. $22/night valet parking is almost compulsory, but there is limited on-street parking if you are willing to walk a block to the hotel. - 24-May-2008 |
