Rooms very small, not up to standard. Things like ice buckets were very dirty and unuseable. I have to admit the bathroom was nice, it seem's that the rooms are part modernised- 29-Jan-2003 One neat thing that I like about the Holiday Inn Paris Republique is the "front porch"...facing...Avenue de la Republique. In the dining room, lots of people enjoy being seated on the porch for meals. Of course, I'm there, mostly, during breakfast. Usually, I am alone. The maitre d's should avoid discriminating against unaccompanied diners. I recommend that, as much as possible, more, single place settings, for patrons dining alone, upon request, be made available.
Best regards,
