 The hotel has a very modern fit-out and is very clean and comfortable. For the price we paid it was excellent value. The location is very convenient being in the heart of St Kilda two minutes walk to trams and the cafe strip. One caveat is that there is a bit of noise on weekends from a club across the street, so light sleepers may be affected. - 19-Jun-2008 the bathroom in the suite where i stayed with my sister was very small. there was no facial tissues. only one remote for the two TVs in two room. so channel flicking was out of the question. the ground floors of the hotel are noisy because of the tram line in the main road. only one internet connection in the living quarter and no internet in the bedroom. the receptionist was friendly. overall would stay there again but will be prepared. Mr. Dynamo - 29-May-2008 I stayed at the Cosmopoltan on a Saturday and Sunday. The room was pleasant (newly refurbished)....quite roomy and very clean. The bathroom was a bit small but also very clean. The bed was nice and comfy....but if you are wanting a good night's sleep it can get really noisy up to 3.00am in the morning (or maybe I was just unlucky?).
