 Flying to Treviso Airport the hotel is a perfect place to stay.
Only a third of price if you compare to Venice.
Everything was good but the breakfast was not so "big".- 03-Jun-2008 The hotel has a somewhat dated feel to it (circa 1950's) but this gives it a certain amount of charm (especially the shoe shiners on each floor!).
It is clean and rooms are far bigger than anything you would get in Venice (and substantially cheaper). Breakfast is not the best but OK.
One great advantage of the hotel is that bus number 6 from Treviso airport stops right outside and the station is over the road with 2-3 trains per hour to Venice taking about 30-40 minutes and less than 5 euros return.
The town is less than 10 minutes walk away and blissfully lacking in tourists which is a relief after Venice.
I would therefore recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit Venice but without breaking the bank.
- 25-Apr-2008 The hotel is very centrally located. Excellent position very near train station and bus stop to airport. The staff is very helpfull. It is a bit noisy during the night as it seems woks on the road continue till late and start early morning. Double glazing would be an idea!!! If they had a good restaurant with local specialities we would have adored it as there are no good restaturants around.- 18-Feb-2008 |
