Everything worked as it should- 30-Mar-2008 A pleasant stay overall. The wi-fi access in the lobby and lounge was a bonus and the breakfast was tasty and well presented. Hotel reception staff were helpful and polite. It was good that English was spoken. The only criticism would be that the elevators were small meaning there could be a bit of wait for one during busy times (eg check-in/out).- 28-Mar-2008 Don`t stay at this hotel unless you have to! Built initially to high standards, the whole place is a bit dilapidated and worn....for example the air conditioning leaked water through the ceiling. The hotel overlooks the main thoroughfare (avenida 9 Julio) and is inadequately soundproofed. The room initially offered to us had a worn out mattress, and the music coming through the headboard panel could not be completely shut off....we were initially told that there were no other rooms available, but were offered a more suitable one only after persistence on our part.- 01-Feb-2008 |
