 We checked in early and the management found us a room before 9am which was a relief. We had a great view from our window and the breakfast was very good. The location worked out well for exploring the creek on foot and ferry; and there was a free bus ride to the Jumeira beach which was a bonus. The taxi ride from the airport was only 35AEDs. The swimming pool on the roof and health club were good and the staff very friendly but the water was challengingly cold. All in all we really enjoyed our stay (it was not the hotel's fault that Dubai traffic is gridlocked and the airport security and passport control is so off-putting - we had to leave at least an hour to work our way through these on arrival and when leaving). - 21-Dec-2007 Stunning reception area of hotel, rooms spacious enough to accommodate three people comfortably.
