 the pickup service ex the airport was a bit of a shambles. The van was run down & the Islander driver was gruff and not friendly - I was a bit embarrassed that this is the first impression the tourists got of NZ. Some poor Aussie guy was on the wrong bus all together as the driver did not listen to where he was going and just chucked his stuff in the back. But I guess for the price paid for the room, overall the experience was very good. The reception at the hotel was efficient, the room was very clean and well appointed for the price paid. I would stay there again.- 08-Oct-2007 The shuttle bus service to and from the airport was excellent. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The accommodation was very clean and to a very high standard.
