 On the night of 25/66 September, other guests decided to have a very loud party on my floor. This party started at 3.00 am and continued right through till dawn. There were lots of shrieking women so I really think that some business men had brought some women in.Four phone calls to the service desk failed to achieve any response. The night manager said that it was "people coming in from outside" and his attitude was that I should just accept the situation. When I pay professional rates for a hotel, I expect professional service. At least one part of this service is the expectation of an uninterrupted nights sleep. I had to turn up to a client meeting the next day with the benefit of a whole four hours sleep behind me. It was terrible. What upset me most was that I had asked for the hotel staff to do their job but they failed to even try to do so. But I had to do my job the next day at full professional level. - 07-Sep-2005 |
