 I cannot imagine a better hotel in Heidelberg! The staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, the location is remarkable and the hotel is lovely both inside and out. We booked a deluxe room, and it was a very large single room (with bathroom) with two seating areas overlooking the Neckar River and the city's historic old bridge. The Philosopher's Way could be glimpsed just above the river banks on the other side, and the view was just perfect.
