 Apart from the carpet that looks like someone had spilt a couple of tins of paint over it, the hotel is fine for 1 night. Fantastic location, just a few minutes from the Marzipan shop and all other sights- 04-Jun-2008 Lubeck is a truly charming place. The Alter Speicher is on the central island, and boat trips leave from quays near the hotel. The hotel itself has the winning combination of architectural significance and an excellent breakfast.- 30-Jun-2007 This hotel is in an excellent location. Several restaurants, the opera house, and the city cathedral are all within walking distance. The railroad station is also within reasonable walking disance. (As long as you don't have too many bags!) The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. My only complaint is that the street noise was considerable at times from motor traffic and the nearby billiard hall.- 23-Jul-2006 |
