New, clean with great bathrooms and excellent bed linen plus hospitable, professional staff - a great hotel!- 20-Jan-2009 Good quiet location. Room was nice and clean. Stayed in a spa suite only disappointment was that the room didnt have a king sized bed. Q22 restaurant had very tasty food which was moderately priced but desert/entree portions were very small. Suggested sightseeing is seaport promanade and roman baths.- 27-Feb-2008 Quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. Five minutes walk to the Esplanade and restaurants overlooking the water. One hundred metres to Boag's Brewery and their tour. Lovely park only 3 blocks away with lovely garden settings. 10 minute walk to Elphin Sports Stadiuim and other sporting facilities. We stayed 3 days and walked to all tourist sites. Did not require a taxi or hire car. Shuttle bus to airport for $11 per person delivered us to the door and picked us up for our return to the airport. My wife and I are 55 and 59 so you don't need to be super fit to get around from this Hotel. - 17-Jul-2007 |
