 I found the room we occupied at the City Garden hotel to be adequate in all respects except for drawer space for clothes. Dining facilities were excellent. I also found the front desk staff to be very helpful. The location is very good with a big variety of shops close by. In summary, we found the hotel completely satisfactory. On our next trip to Hong Kong we intend to stay at the City Garden Hotel.- 11-May-2008 while the entrance to the hotel and reception was very nice, clean etc. , the room we had booked, a double, was not available.they wanted us to take a twin room or pay 200 per night for an upgrade. eventually we got a double after an hours wait. the room was musty, poor standard an left much to be desired. we were very dissapointed with it.- 21-Apr-2007 On the hotel itself, I can only have expressions of approval and recommendation.
As a negative remark, in spite of not being hotel''s responsibility, I have found some difficulty in getting taxis to take me to the Railway station (Kowloon side)under the allegation that the trafic jam make them lose money, that is not our fault. A better assistance by the hotel''s reception management would correct this point.
