 Hotel is perfectly located, just beside San Marco square. Other than that, it is very basic, breakfast is extremely basic, no A/C, no elevator, shared bathroom (although there are rooms with own bathrooms). - 28-Sep-2009 I am sorry to say that it had a defect on the heating - you couldn't stop it in the bathroom and that produced a very bad air in the whole room and created a lot of noise you could only stand if you closed the bathroom door. Besides that it was quite dark and a bit humid - which is no surprise in Venice.- 03-Apr-2006 Really enjoyed a three-nights stay in Citta Di Milano.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful, bed cloth
was always excellent, the room was renovated probably
a bit too long ago, but kept in good condition (given the price -
rather moderate for Venice). Perfect location, easily accessible
from Rialto and San Marco since one has found it for the first
time. The hotel is by a church, so that excellent bell melodies
help wake up every morning.
